Chiropractor

info:
I gained my Masters degree in Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 2012. I spent my first years in practice working in South Devon before moving back home to Basingstoke earlier this year.I was inspired to become a chiropractor after experiencing the positive effects of chiropractic treatment myself, after seeking care for low back and knee pain as a teenager. It was incredible to see the changes brought about by the natural approach of hands on treatment. My own chiropractic care made me realise how intricately integrated the human body is. I find it exceptionally rewarding as a chiropractor to utilize a treatment approach that incorporates the whole of the body, instead of focussing only on the area of pain. I strive to improve the wellbeing of my patients and to help them reach their personal health goals through a combination of gentle chiropractic care, exercise advice and postural rehabilitation.Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the gym and baking.

info:
Born in Mexico and after spending time in the USA working within child-care I moved to the UK in 2006. Following my introduction to the techniques and benefits of chiropractic care though family and friends, I decided to follow the path to become a chiropractor. In 2009 I began my training at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic where I have learnt from some of the most experienced chiropractors from around the world and have had the opportunity to work with new born babies, adults and athletes. In my spare time I enjoy keeping active by taking my lovely French bulldog Louie for walks along the beach or in the forest as well as going fishing with my husband.I enjoy working with patients using chiropractic techniques, soft tissue work, exercises and stretches as well as lifestyle and nutrition advice. I believe that patients’ involvement in their treatment is imperative for their recovery. I think it is essential to address any dysfunction in the body including that of the nerves, muscles and skeleton, that can alter the movement pattern thus leading to pain and debility.
