The focus of traditional acupuncture is on the whole person rather than symptoms and thus can be suitable for a wide range of physical and emotional problems.
Dr Deborah Thomson studied medicine at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. After qualification she came to Winchester to work in 1983 and until recently was a GP in Whitchurch.
Alongside her work in western medicine Deborah trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, with post-graduate training at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and in China and has practiced acupuncture in Winchester since 1983.
She lives in Winchester with her husband and two children and in her spare time enjoys cycling, swimming and sings in a local choir.
