Pregnancy Massage

Aromatherapy is a science and an art in which highly concentrated essential oils extracted from various parts of different plants are used for their various therapeutic properties. A number of these essential oils are well documented to be safe in pregnancy and offer an extremely beneficial and enjoyable means of treating the many physiological discomforts of pregnancy.

Aromatherapy massage can be good for;

The application of an essential oil blend via the skin is enhanced when given via massage which is suitable at all stages of pregnancy from 12 weeks to 42 weeks. Post natal massage is also available.

Your first visit will be a 90 minute appointment which includes a 60 minute full body massage , using Neal’s Yard essential oils , with time to complete an assessment and discuss your expectations of the massage.

The aim is for you to have a deeply relaxing massage that gives you time for yourself and makes you feel pampered at this special time.

My name is Sue Nicholson and I have lived in Winchester since 1990 and up until 2012 I worked as a xsue_nicholsonCommunity Midwife. I am married and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren who all live locally.

I qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2003 and subsequently completed courses in Aromatherapy Massage and Pregnancy Massage. I combine my knowledge of Midwifery, Massage and Aromatherapy to offer a unique and tailor made treatment for you.

I will be at the Practice every Tuesday and some Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Don’t leave it too long, I have many clients who wished they had booked earlier in their pregnancy so please phone our friendly reception team on 01962 843242 to book an appointment.
