Reflexology

Lynsey Knight, Reflexologist
Reflexology
My name is Lynsey Knight, I am a qualified, level 3 Reflexologist and I am very excited to be joining Mark and the team at Winchester Sports and Spine. I qualified in 2006 and have loved developing my reflexology skills whilst also being kept busy as a wife and mum, raising two small (and very adorable) children. I look forward to meeting lots of new people in Winchester helping to make them feel fabulous using the gentle, safe and effective technique of reflexology.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-invasive, holistic treatment, aimed at improving and very importantly, sustaining general well being. The treatment works on the principle that each organ or system of the body has a corresponding point or ‘zone’ on the feet. Using specific thumb movements pressure is applied to the toes, feet and ankles. The theory is that the various organs and systems within the body are consequently returned to ‘homeostasis’ restoring the body’s own healthy balance, thus promoting good health.
Like most other complementary therapies, reflexology works on an individual basis and the degree of effect is always specific to the individual.
It is recommended that an initial course of treatments is completed. After having completed this course, many people find it beneficial to continue with regular treatments in order to maintain health and well-being.
Bookings are now very welcome, I will be at the practice on a Thursday and would love to see you there! The duration of a session is 1hr 15 minutes for a consultation and 1hr thereafter. The cost of a reflexology session is £30.00 for adults and £20.00 for children. Please contact reception and speak to Janet, Fiona and Judith on 01962 843242 to book a session.
