I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 from the University of West of England. I have worked in both the NHS and private sector asCC_0003-2 (2) a physiotherapist and currently I am combining my clinical work with lecturing at Chichester University.I treat a very varied case load of patients from the elite sports person to the very sedentary. I have established links with orthopaedic surgeons, pain specialists, rheumatologists and GPs so we can get your rehabilitation right as a team giving you the best possible informed choices. We aim to contribute to and keep up with the latest developments in physiotherapy. I completed an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy in 2004. This gave me the opportunity to publish research and get to the 2004 Olympic games. I continue to progress personally and enjoy helping others to progress whether you are a patient or student. At Chichester University I run a physiology (how the body works) module and oversee the students clinical development. This mixture of teaching and physiotherapy work keeps me up to date and enthusiastic in both work environments. In my spare time I sail competitively in dinghies and keel boats. I have run a marathon but now keep fit on a mountain bike, I can sympathise with those overuse injuries and those following their training diaries. I am a member at Kingsgate Tennis Club, ski or snowboard in the winter and clay shoot competitively. Being involved in a number of sports and having tried many others I have a good abililty to analyse whatever activity you are doing and help you get out of pain fast.I would be delighted to discuss any problems you are having and set you in the right direction. I can offer you specific exercise, manipulation, massage, ultrasound, acupuncture. We will endeavour to diagnose your problem, optimise your healing and eliminate contributing factors to minimise the chance of your problem recurring.I am able to offer you half price assessment until the end of July 2010.Give us a call to see how we can help you 01962 843242
